R CUBED is a corporate restructuring and advisory firm specialising in working with sustainable companies, who are faced with the challenge of distressed situations.

R CUBED is operated by its principal and Managing Director, Marcus Derwin.

Marcus is a highly experienced corporate executive with an extensive background in corporate restructuring, turnaround consulting and crisis management.

He has operated in executive and Board roles across a vast cross section of industry sectors as CEO, COO, Chief Restructuring Officer (CRO) and in senior Finance roles across a number of international markets (including the USA, UK and Australia).

• Roles encompassed public and private sectors at Board and executive level
• Board experience includes Audit and Finance, Investment, Remuneration and Compensation, Risk Management, Integration sub-committee roles
• 25 years of corporate and advisory restructuring experience
• Corporate banking executive experience (Australia and USA)
• Diverse geographic experience, having operated both domestically and internationally across the European, Americas and Asia-Pacific regions for extended periods
• Experienced in all stages of business maturity from startup through expansion and consolidation
• Marcus holds a Bachelor of Business degree from QUT (Brisbane), a Masters in Commerce from UNSW (Sydney) and is a qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA). He also is a member of the Institute of Company Directors (AICD)
